A message from the caterer:
St. Michael Byzantine Hall is a state of the art banquet facility located at 2333 North Elms Road, Flushing, Michigan. The Reception Center is available for weddings, banquets and any other events for groups of 200 - 400 guests.
The Center's neutral colors complement any decorations for your event. Our in-house catering service offers a variety of menus, and we'll gladly customize any menu to your satisfaction.

Payment Policy: Final Count and payment in full is due (10) days prior to the event. A minimum count of 200 is required. We reserve the right to cancel your event should payment not be received by that date. Guest count may be increased up to 24 hours piror to your event, however not lowered. Children 10 years old and under are charged half price. infants 4 years old and under are free.
We accept personal checks, cashier checks or cash payments. Please contact Patrick Haley to make arrangements for final payment amount.
Our chefs will create menus to meet your budget and personal satisfaction. From the time your first guest arrives until the end of your event, our uniformed staff will assist you and your guests.
All of our dinners are serrved on china by our professional, uniformed wait staff. Linen napkins and linen tablecloths will cover all of your guests' tables and all of the food tables will be skirted. Appetizer, cake plates and cafe forks are disposable.

Punctuality: It is of the upmost importance that your meal is served without delay to insure you receive the highest quality of food and best service we can provide for you and your guests. Our staff will be ready at the pre-agreed upon time for your event. Consequently, we reserve the right to charge $75.00 for each half-hour our staff is delayed past the pre-agreed time to serve your meal.
Our staff transfers all leftover food to disposable foil pans. Please remember to refrigerate all food as soon as possible after leaving the hall at the end of the evening.

Buffet Style Meals:
$19.95 per person + 6% sales tax. Minimum guest count of 200.
Salads and breads will be served on the buffet line. We will open the buffet by escorting your guests to the buffet table.
The 2008 Menu Selections are shown below. Choose from a variety of categories to create an individualized meal to your satisfaction. Please choose from each of the Food Categories. You may add an additional item from Category II or III for an additional 50 cents per person. Water goblets and cake cutting service are included in each buffet.

All our menus include complementary vegetable trays with dip, assorted crackers and cheese spread. For other appetizers available, please contact the caterer.
A skirting package with lights and tooling are available for a total cost of $200.00.
Due to licensing regulations, all bar service must be provided by Party Time Bartenders. Their current price is $175.00 for two bartenders for the evening. Please contact Jenny at (810) 694-7757 to reserve your date and to make payment arrangements. The contracting party must be the sole supplier of all alcohol, beer, and wine. No "bring your own bottle" parties are allowed.
The service price we charge includes all soft drinks, juice, and cups for a standard bar set up as well as the service of our professionally certified bartenders.
Our bartenders comply with all State Liquor Control Commission laws. Identification will be checked to verify ages and we reserve the right to refuse service if necessary. We strongly recommend the bar be opened no sooner than 4:30 p.m. for alcohol. No alcohol is served after 11:00 p.m.
A Message From St Michael Byzantine Catholic Church:
Thank you for your consideration of St. Michael Hall. We have been able to assist and accommodate the needs of many individuals hosting their wedding reception, as well as other special gatherings since 1984. Our facility has proven to be quite conducive for those needs and has facilitated many joyous life time memories. We are happy to say that our hall/activity center enjoys an excellent reputation in our community.
Even though we do not provide the fine St. Michael catering as in past years, we were very carful in selecting who we would entrust this important task and service to. We believe that you will be delighted that we have chosen Patrick Haley who has long been associated with Italia Gardens to carry on this fine tradition of excellent catering that St. Michael Church has been known to supply for many, many years.
With this development our Hall rental and catering package information changed in 2008. With Patrick's commitment in providing quality catering and coordination, we will be able to do "back-to-back" (Friday and Saturday) bookings if necessary. This should allow us to have greater facility availability. We will also be able to schedule holiday weekends.
For those who have attended receptions at St. Michael Hall or contracted with us before, we pledge our continued commitment in making your celebration a very good and memorable experience. For those who have not as yet experienced a reception at St. Michael Hall, we ask that you give us an opportunity to assist with your planning.
Our secretary, Stephanie Dunavan, will be available to assist you with rental information, as well as processing the contract and securing the requested date. She is available at our parish office on most Tuesdays and Thursdays (810-659-4887) from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
